I have Madagascan origins but live in New Zealand. I was very touched by this video and each time, I came to the conclusion that foreigners are taking advantage of our country !!!! Regarding foreigners living in Madagascar, Unlike many Madagascans, I am among those who think that they MUST make any effort to be part of our culture and integrate our values, are free to go back to where they belong !!! This is Madagascar, if you want to live there, at least, make some effort to understand the culture, learn the language (just the basics would be fine) as well as the history. In places like New Zealand - but also in Australia, Argentina, Denmark or the United states, you have to pass a language test and have a good command of English/Spanish/Danish. In my own view, this is legitimate as New Zealand is not France or China !!!! If you want to live in a country, speak the language....Our governments are acting stupidly by allowing foreigners to exploit our resources and let the latter impose their will !!!! In Botswana, for example, foreigners are only allowed to work if and only if there is no one locally who can apply for the job. IF there is, PRIORITY will be given to the local, the foreigner will have to WAIT ! YOU FRENCH, INDIANS AND CHINESE GUYS who are in Madagascar.... If you do not want to make a minimum of efforts to get integrated, to learn the minumum from Madagascar, I politely invite you to get the hell out of our country !
It is time we take back control of our borders, it is time Madagascar leaders take their responsibility, which is to protect the country’s resources and interests. But above all, as citizens we have to play our role by undertaking daily actions such as make foreigners understand that they are foreigners : be acive online, raise your voice when you think you are being exploited, or just write a blog or post a youtube video !

Why is that ? are you prejudiced ? or are you jealous that some people in Madagascar could finally achieve something useful ?

      @ goopa 1
In ordinary language madagascan are called Malagasy, may be in New Zeland ?
      As told before : .
I see your humour certainly due to your origin , is quite sharped ...
Sorry to tell you that you haven’ t picked up nothing about what i said, or tried to suggest, and if, as most of anglo saxon it is a character or integration’ sign to hate French, i do have to tell to U, that i agree with U & most of it , i am french !
New Zeland with Maori is an exemple to follow , as aborigenes in Australia, or Red skin in USA...
Of course many froggies are short minded, or stupid and even more, so let me tell U something, : Welcome to the club !
I won’ t learn to U that French is a young culture, without any background, nor History, compare to English , so long 🤪 .
To add : i really don’t mind that a teenager got this price, worse, i am happy for her, but do you know how many Malagasy are able to send theirs teenagers abroad ???
So i will widen your vision, if you allow me, it is not 5% of Malagasy and even less !
That was the meaning of my post .
In another way the are called the privileges , the upper cast, the one who starve their compatriotes & blood brothers , do U pick it up better ?
So do some Haka for me & U’ll feel better

so may be the French people are just soo perfect ???? I do not think so !!!! take a look at your former colonies, they all sink on an economical standpoint ! Yes, you are right, most Anglo-saxons despise French people !!!! May be they are right !
In regards to myself, or shall I shall ourselves, we are so relieved we do not pay taxes in France. We are also very happy that we rase our kids the Anglo-saxon way, as for me, I hate French anyway !

dear Vatomena, you might be right ; living overseas makes you sometimes forget...but it also makes you see things in amore objective way as you are far away from any forms of « pollution ».

You have good points, meaning, our country got poorer because of our leaders, particularly those two last ones...who paradoxically, « serve » French (french banks, french fuel, French products sold evrywhere and competing with our products) and Indo-Pakistanese (yes, Indian run companies producing dairy products...and on top of that, the former government did everything to sink the one who is owned by a malagasy national...we are stupid !), as well as chinese interests. Here in NZ, we have Indians and Chinese too, and unlike those living in MScar, they earn their living because of their hard work... by sweating !!! In our country, they take advantage of our system !!!! Here in NZ, at least, they do not allow priority to foreigners !!!! in Mscar, that is the opposite !!! I prefer NZ on that point to be frank with you ! Regarding France, I never loved that country, I have always despised it and I would like to be 100% frank...I do not like French people !!!!
